Result Across one week of rigorous research, experimentation, and production, participants will redefine the concept of ‘low culture’ souvenirs and each design and produce souvenir items.

Exploring the tension between high culture and low culture aesthetics.

Using the archetypal model of the tourist souvenir stands as a basis for exploration - participants will experiment with the idea of the ‘souvenir’ across multiple contexts, exploring the conceptual space in which ‘high culture’ meets ‘low culture’.

Each participant will gain experience in physical production, conceptual design thinking, and professional practice.

Lab participants are a mix of profiles with a creative background. Required skills or expertise are a design or art background in graphic, textile, product, fashion or type.

HelloMe is a multidisciplinary creative studio defining contemporary culture. Under the creative guidance of founder Till Wiedeck, HelloMe develops concepts, art direction, graphic design and visual experiences for leading protagonists in fashion, contemporary art, culture and business.


The studio works closely with partners from all fields to develop extraordinary work and interdisciplinary cross-media formats. HelloMe creates progressive communication and new gestures at the intersection of contemporary culture and commerce.

Enrollment Fee

100 euro


You're expected to arrange your own in and outbound transport to the lab location, Vilvoorde. All (local) transport during the class will be taken care of.


Your enrollment fee includes accommodation, you might be asked to bring certain necessities such as a sleeping bag or sheets. More info will follow soon.


Your enrollment fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.


8th of July until 14th of July. 


All talks and workshops will be in English.


You’ll be 16 people (X/Y/Z) both local, national and international.


Your birthday should be on or before September 1, 2000.
