Hailing straight from the Netherlands, Brazilian-born artist and performer Mavi Veloso brings with her an experience that confuses, questions and enlightens the public’s minds by highlighting “personal experiences as femme, non-binary and of trans* bodies”. In a mutually inclusive manner, her performances investigate themes such as marginalization, rejection, and resistance while inviting the audience to dance and have fun together.

The exploration of transformation and the interplay among space, time, and crowds are at the core of her practice. She invites us to get a glimpse of her world by “acting as a catalyst alongside people and the environment, mutually influencing each other, and weaving narratives as we party”.
