Since 1997, James "darkfarmer" Taylor and David "brun" Brown have shaped the underground electronic landscape as the influential act Swayzak. With 5 studio albums and 2 DJ compilations, their signature sound, spanning genres like minimal, deep house, dub techno, and glitch house, has left an indelible mark. From classics like "Snowboarding in Argentina" to experimental works like "Clicks and Cuts," they remain dark, twisted, and unmistakable.

As one of the few electronic bands performing truly live, Swayzak's sets are chaotic yet beautiful, devoid of rehearsals or pre-recordings. Their improvisational spirit, blending laptops, mixers, and outboard effects in the dub tradition, brings an unpredictable, human element to their shows. With a relaunch of their 240 volts label in October 2010 and major releases on the horizon, including Taylor's "Lugano Fell" project and a new Swayzak album in 2011, their influence continues to grow.
