EXPO 2024

Maëlle Dufour (b. 1994, Mons, BE) is a visual artist whose practice takes the shape of complex systems that question progress at the heart of past, known and future eras. She explores traces of decadence as much as first signs of hope, whilst questioning origin, memory and rebirth (or its absence). Crucial to her practice is  the physical confrontation between her work and the viewer, where the size and weight of the pieces exceeding any human scale is constantly reminding us of the vulnerability of our own existence.

The work of Maëlle Dufour is a production of CC Strombeek. CC Strombeek is a multidisciplinary cultural house located in the periphery around the Brussels capital with international appeal. It has built up a strong reputation with an exhibition history of new productions with both Belgian and international artists. An important focus of the programme is to provide emerging artists with their first institutional solo exhibition in the Benelux region and to support artists to explore new directions within their practice. Because of this generous collaboration, Horst welcomes CC Strombeek as guest exhibition partner for this year's edition.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
