Skream & Benga, Aurora Halal & DJ Nobu, Ben UFO, Prosumer and Juliana Huxtable & JASSS are among the first festival acts
In 2024, we proudly mark ten years of Horst Arts & Music. What started as a hopeful endeavour in 2014 has flourished into a year-round tapestry, interwoven with an arts exhibition, atelier community weeks, our own nightclub, and, of course, the annual festival. This 10th edition is not just a milestone, it's a sincere thank you for joining us along the way. After bringing Horst Club to life in acknowledgment of our decade-long journey, the celebration of our ten year anniversary persists. Without further ado, these are the first 34 artists who’ll celebrate with us early May:
Dubstep pioneers, techno cornerstones and house legends
The headline act for this year's festival undoubtedly features dubstep legends Skream & Benga. After a hiatus of more than 10 years, they are resuming touring, with Horst being their only show in Belgium in 2024. For enthusiasts of all things non-four-to-the-floor, Horst this year presents heavyweights such as Ben UFO, DJ Luv You and a special D&B set by Octo Octa, who’s been a regular at the festival since its early days.
The house spectrum of the lineup thus holds a few very special acts staying true to the ‘real house music’ spirit, such as Prosumer, Dee Diggs, Kennedy, and even a live set from the legendary Swayzak. Additionally, we will once again feature many local acts in prime time festival slots: Bibi Seck & Jenny Cara, Lola Haro, Kr!z, and Sixsixsixties & Timmerman will all showcase their homegrown talent by performing during peak time or even closing slots.
In terms of techno, Japanese pioneer DJ Nobu joins forces with Aurora Halal and Token Records label owner Kr!z makes his long-overdue festival debut. Juliana Huxtable & JASSS, along with Leeon and local talent Emily Jeanne—who played Horst before in 2022—will also be making their way to Asiat Park in May.
