South London producer Ploy has been bending the boundaries of UK club music since his 2016 debut on Hessle Audio, quickly making a name through bold, off-kilter releases on Batu’s Timedance. With a sound that mutates bassbin traditions into something crooked yet compelling, he’s earned remixes from innovators like Beatrice Dillon and Peder Mannerfelt, while also turning his hand to remixing Len Faki, Bjarki and Mount Kimbie. His debut LP Unlit Signals on L.I.E.S. and his own imprint and club night Deaf Test cemented his reputation as both restless experimenter and tastemaker. Now pushing into contemporary house with nods to progressive, tech-house and garage, Ploy continues to fill world-class venues and his Rinse FM residency with his propulsive blend of house, techno and bass. In 2025, he’s set to drop a new LP on Dekmantel, a five-track EP on Faith Beat, and a contribution to Timedance’s ten-year anniversary compilation.
