Horst Atelier is a dynamic five-week programme, uniting participants to collaboratively create the immersive festival and visual arts exhibition. Participants are invited to join for a minimum of one week, each beginning on Sunday evening with an introductory get-together and ending on Friday. Only the last Atelier week runs from Saturday to Thursday. Horst Atelier days are filled with creativity and collaboration from 09:00 to 18:00.
Horst provides accommodation, essential sanitation, meals, beverages, and engaging activities like talks, workshops, and group visits to Kiosk Radio.

Participants are expected to arrange their own in- and outbound transport to Asiat Park (Vilvoorde, Belgium) where the Ateliers take place. All local transport during the Atelier will be taken care of.
Given the broad scope of international participants at Horst Atelier, the main spoken language during the week is English.
Participants sleep in tents in buildings on site. Horst offers basic sanitation. Extra blankets for during cold nights are available.
Atelier participants receive receive a three-day festival ticket with camping in return for their contributions. Horst provides accommodation, essential sanitation, meals, beverages, and a wide range of activities throughout the week.
The remuneration for Deconstruction Atelier participants slightly differs: this will be in the form of reimbursements only. If you have already purchased festival tickets and plan to participate in the deconstruction, we will refund your ticket costs. Simply put, to join the Atelier and receive your refund, you'll need to purchase a festival ticket upfront. This helps ensure that everyone who signs up fulfills their shifts as planned. If you were unable to secure your ticket(s) in time, please reach out to us, and we'll provide access to our hidden shop.
