Born in France to English parents, Beatrice M. brings a signature blend of syncopated UK-genres from dubstep to tech house, mixing old school elements with crisp and contemporary sound design. They aim to push and merge these same sonics through their label Bait, while outings on Tectonic and Rinse have further showed off their production prowess. Not averse to getting on the mic, their boundless energy and enthusiasm shines through in every set. At this year’s Horst they join forces with Mankiyan, who has been a sure favourite on the Belgian scene for some years. As well as appearing at our own Horst club, she has played at Open Ground in Wuppertal, Soup Kitchen in Manchester and Traum in Antwerp, as well as being a staple on Kiosk Radio. We expect energetic genre-twists and party energy from these two.
