A leaf a gourd a shell a net
A bag a sling a sack a bottle
A pot a box a container.
A holder. A recipient.
How to transform a performative space into a container? An embroidery of care, live electronic sound, bodies sharing energies in motion, love, softness, joy, playfulness, transparency, fiction, and fiction, and fiction. A space that Holds all the inner worlds present in the space, in order to connect with their complexities.
Oddkin is a research base Performance work. It Is situated between a performance and an immersive experience, where we are experimenting with transforming the performative space a space that normally shows, exposes (theater black box, etc) into a space that contains, carries, and holds those inhibiting it.
We use sound, movement, and fabric installation to guide the audience into an inner trip while sharing a collective space. The intention behind this is to play music, move to it inside a fiction that allows us to engage Generously and intentionally with the audience, and use our artistic expressions to give space and time to the people assisting to blur their thoughts to de-engage a moment from the “real world” inside this ambiguous space full of good intentions and generosity.
We use theory as (a trigger to compose and accommodate the Dramaturgical intentions in space) in the form of manifestos coming from cyberfeminism ( A cyborg manifesto, Xenofeminism, Cyberwithch manifesto) and an approach of fiction where fiction functions as a container for the people inhabiting the space we propose. this is The Carrier Bag theory of fiction by Ursula K. Leguin.
