Collective Care lead

Job description

  • Lead and support the collective care team during club weekends
  • Stay present and responsive to the emotional, physical and social needs of the space
  • Coordinate breaks, roles and rotations within the care team
  • Act as a point of contact for guests who experience discomfort, confusion or conflict
  • Handle incidents with sensitivity and discretion, escalating when necessary
  • Keep communication flowing with the production, crew, door and bar teams
  • Participate in briefings, debriefings, and care-related reflection moments
  • Help shape and uphold our club’s vision on care, safety and accessibility

Profile

  • Has experience with care work, nightlife safety, peer support, mediation or similar fields
  • Knows how to create calm, even in chaos
  • Is emotionally grounded and knows your own boundaries
  • Listens before acting, but isn’t afraid to intervene when needed
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully — even in conflict
  • Works well in a team and can hold space for others under pressure
  • Is available for all (or most) of the five club weekends:
    October 4–5, November 22–23, December 31–January 1, February 14–15, March 14–15 (negotiable)
  • Is okay with working late-night and early-morning hours
  • Comfortable communicating in English
