Job description

  • Helping set up the bar before opening.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Take and serve drink orders efficiently.
  • Act as a friendly point of contact for guests’ inquiries and concerns.
  • Inform bar and/or staff managers of any issues or supply needs.
  • Helping clean up the bar and club at closing time.
  • You are also expected to occasionally take on a shift as a runner (restocking the bars) or sweeper (clearing cups and bottles from the dance floor and surrounding areas).

Profile

  • You are available for the 5 club weekends: October 4–5, November 22–23, December 31–January 1, February 14–15, March 14–15 (negotiable).
  • You're comfortable working night shifts.
  • Previous bartending experience preferred, but not required.
  • You can work responsibly, attentively and proactively.
  • You are communicative, and will not hesitate to signal if there is something up.
  • Friendly and helpful when dealing with people, even under stress.
  • You keep order and cleanliness close to your heart.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
  • Comfortable communicating in English
