Job description

  • Prepare the bar for opening, make sure the bar runs smoothly and properly close down at the end of the night
  • Manage the bar team and train new staff members to ensure everyone is up to speed
  • Maintain high standards for speed and quality of bar service throughout the night
  • Help out where needed while supervising and directing the team
  • Maintain clear communication with staff managers during and after the club weekend regarding staffing, scheduling and stock levels
  • Maintaining high spirits among staff members, even during periods of stress

Profile

  • Experience in horeca is a must, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Managing a group of people gives you energy.
  • Knows how to motivate a team during difficult moments.
  • Demonstrates strong insight into staff scheduling and proactively adjusts based on real-time and expected demand.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
  • You can work responsibly, attentively and proactively.
  • Friendly and helpful when dealing with people, even under stress.
  • You keep order and cleanliness close to your heart.
  • You are available for the 5 club weekends: October 4–5, November 22–23, December 31–January 1, February 14–15, March 14–15 (negotiable).
  • Comfortable communicating in English
