The seed that holds your armour is watertight aims to transform a neglected area along the bike path and river into a threshold, defining both a 'purifying' access to the site as well as a space for appropriation, rest, and gathering. "The seed that holds your armour is watertight" combines two elements: a fountain and an earth pedestal. The fountain reflects the human body. Endless steel bars a rib cage where visitors are embraced by several water taps. The earth pedestal consists of compacted layers of soil containing seeds, clay, and stones.
By bringing together these two elements, we define a natural cycle: the earth degrades and dissolves over time, releasing seeds that will be nourished by the overflowing water from the fountain, and will later become plants and an evolving landscape. The site is dominated by Japanese Knotweed (Reynoutria japonica), an invasive species whose presence in the soil is considered 'polluting'. The selected seed species reflect a notion of tension and struggle with the constantly evolving invader.
During the festival Every Island and Flore Fockedey also unleashed their creativity on the festival entrance outdoors. This temporary installation titled “The day I come to you, it will all come crumbling down” resembles a gate of a temple, to celebrate the moment of entering and leaving the festival’s site.

Every Island is a design collective that investigates the concept of performativity through ephemeral installations and uses the notion of ambiguity as a design tool. Flore Fockedey is a designer interested in surfaces and the spaces they can make. She defines a surface as an assembly of components, sometimes stitched, weaved, or bolted.
The seed that holds your armour is watertight vise à transformer un terrain négligé le long de la piste cyclable et de la rivière en un seuil, définissant à la fois un accès ‘purificateur’ au site ainsi qu'un espace d'appropriation, de repos et de rassemblement. ‘The seed that holds your armour is watertight’ combine deux éléments : une fontaine et un socle de terre. La fontaine reflète le corps humain. Des barres d’acier sans fin forment les côtes d'une cage thoracique où les visiteurs sont enveloppés par plusieurs robinets d'eau. Le socle de terre consiste en des couches compactées de terre qui contiennent des graines, de l'argile et des pierres.
En réunissant ces deux éléments, nous définissons un cycle naturel : la terre se dégrade et se dissout avec le temps, libérant des graines qui seront nourries par l'eau débordante de la fontaine, et deviendront plus tard des plantes et un paysage en évolution. Le site est dominé par la Renouée du Japon (Reynoutria Japonica), une espèce envahissante dont la présence dans le sol est considérée comme ‘polluante’. Les espèces de graines sélectionnées reflètent une notion de tension et de lutte avec l’envahisseur en constante évolution.
Pendant le festival, Every Island et Flore Fockedey ont également libéré leur créativité à l'entrée extérieure du festival, alors que de plus en plus d'espaces intérieurs du site sont en cours de réaménagement. Cette installation temporaire intitulée The day I come to you, it will all come crumbling down ressemblait à une porte généreuse d'un temple, pour célébrer le moment d'entrer et de quitter le site du festival.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
